Building Resilient Attitudes through Virtual Engagements
Building Resilient Attitudes through Virtual Engagements (BRAVE) is a feasibility study funded by the University of Washington's (UW) COVID-19 Population Health Equity Research Grant. This collaborative project was developed by a unique team of all Black and Asian researchers, doctors and community leaders — UW, TrapMedicine, BLK HLTH, Hate Is A Virus and Influential Point — dedicated to health equity.

According to the Pew Research Center, since the COVID-19 outbreak, Black and Asian Americans have reported an increase in racial and ethnic discrimination including being a victim of racist slurs or jokes, fear of physical attack and concerns about physical safety when wearing a face mask. Black and Asian Americans. 
  The BRAVE study is a peer-supported, interactive webinar series to better understand how we can support the Black and Asian communities through online community engagements.
